Submit a Calendar Event to CTBN
The following events may be submitted for inclusion on the CTBN calendar:
Classes and events that are hosted by a member of the Central Texas Birth Network.
Training workshops for any events in the state of Texas, regardless of who is
sponsoring it. Workshops must be of benefit to childbirth professionals in some way.
Visit the
Community Calendar and click the "Add Event" link to add the details of your event. You will receive an email confirmation and link to the listing once your request has been added to the CTBN website.
If you host a lot of events that are the same with just a different date, you may request a user id which will enable you to copy previous events already in the calendar. Then, you can just change the dates and details (if necessary) of the new event. This can be a great time saver!
In addition to being listed in the CTBN calendar, "tweets" on Twitter will be added frequently throughout the month directing Austinites to visit the CTBN site. Consider including a website and your Twitter username in your event description so people can easily find you and your events.
